Lake Michigan Salmon and Trout Fishing
IMG_6961 2.JPG

Lake Michigan lies off of the east side of the Door Peninsula. This expansive body of water is home to some of the best King Salmon and Rainbow Trout fishing the Great Lakes has to offer!

Trout/Salmon (June - September)

Starting in June, these fish start heavily feeding on bait, which makes it the best time to fish! We primarily fish off of the bank reef out of Sturgeon Bay, but fishing in a trailered 21' Triton allows us to also launch in Algoma or Baileys Harbor to target the most active groups of fish.

Trout/Salmon (September, October)

Once the water starts to cool off, the 4-year-old King Salmon begin to work their way into the shallows to spawn. This provides an excellent opportunity to catch these enormous fish on spinning tackle in 20 feet of water or less!
