Bay of Green Bay Bass, Trout and Walleye

Brown Trout (Ice Out - April)

Shortly after the ice melts and the boat ramps open, we start fishing for Brown Trout. These are targeted on both sides of the Door Peninsula by trolling and casting. Catching a giant brown trout is always a great way to start off the open-water season!

Walleye (Ice Out - October)

If giant walleye is what you are after, Green Bay is the place to be. Evening bites soon after ice out is one of the best times to catch a 30+ inch walleye. Once the water begins to warm up in May, large quantities from the southern part of Green Bay are consistently taken. In the summer and fall, we target shoreline breaks and offshore structures for trophy eyes.

Bass (May - November)

Door County is home to one of the best smallmouth fisheries in the world. The first Saturday in May starts the season for catching these world-class smallmouths in Door County, where catching a 25-pound bag still doesn't guarantee a tournament win. Starting in May and going through the summer,  we will be fishing shallow water for these fish. As fall approaches and the water starts to get colder, we transition into deeper-water fishing where the smallmouth bass begin to move to for the winter months. To keep this fishery considered world-class, all smallmouth trips are catch and release.
